“I was playing for Worksop and I made a tackle, you know, one of my tackles. The lad was flat on his back and he sort of stamped upwards and ripped my ball bag. I had to go to hospital and Claire said “when your with the nurse don’t say ball bag say scrotum.” Anyway I finally got in to see the nurse and she asked what had happened and before I knew it I had said it “I’ve ripped my ball bag nurse.” I couldn’t believe I said it”

What is the best prank you’ve played?
“I was playing for WorksopTown at the time and we were away at WhitleyBay. I put Deep Heat in Gary Townsend’s pants. Nothing happened at first, but in the bar later things started to warm up a bit down there. Everyone wondered what was the matter with him. He was wiggling about and clawing at his trousers”
